Natasha wraps up her conversation with Kita. They were old friends and it would be fun to catch up over dinner. Your girlfriend places the phone on its base and heads off to start cooking, wondering if she imagined that weird speck by the phone. Surely it wasn't moving.
You land agilely on your feet. You quickly asses the situation and find you're on top of the bookshelf right next to the phone base. Knowing she'll eventually hang up the phone, you stay right where you are. It's a rather short bookcase, in comparison to her. So, you are more than confident she'll finally notice you. She makes conversation for a few minutes before heading toward you. As she places the phone on the base she stares right at you. You scream at the woman towering over you, jumping wildly, waving your tiny arms. You are certain she's finally spotted you and that everything is going to be alright. But your hopes are crushed as she exits the room. You know she'll be back... eventually, but you're starting to wonder if she'll ever see you.
