You end up going somewhere else

As Alex continues driving towards Tony's house, he has a very strong urge to head over to Megan's best friend, Karen’s, house. He hasn't seen her since the funeral and wanted to see how she was doing. Therefore, he decided to make a detour.

10 minutes later, he knocks on Karen's front door.

She opened the door and her face lit up with happiness, "Hi, Alex! How are you? What are you doing here?"

"Well I was in the area so I thought I would see how you were doing?" he says to Karen.

"Oh how sweet of you. Please come in," Karen says. "Let’s go up to my room and talk. That is what Megan and I always did. We can catch up on everything".

"Sure," said Alex, following Karen up to her room.
