Over the course of the past year Linda had shot up both physically and financially. She had started as a secretary in her company, however her growth had fueled her confidence. Her attitude and even the way she carried herself had an effect on those around her and slowly she had climbed the employment ladder. She was now, despite her low experience managing an entire team in her legal firm.
She hardly even worked anymore, she just bossed around the insignificant little people under her and reaped the rewards of their work.
Her growing body fueled her self entitlement, with every inch she gained she felt more powerful. More in charge. More demanding. More deserving. What she hadn't noticed at first was the fact that her growth was not just fueling her confidence. Her confidence and attitude had slowly begun fueling her growth. And the larger she got, the more imposing she became and the more likely it was that a people would listen to whatever she said.
The connection was slowly beginning to be made in her mind however.
This slow rise to power and stature threatened to continue endlessly if left unchecked.
Today Linda was reclined in her office chair her tight clad feet propped up on her desk while she played a game on her phone. A knock at the door signaled that her diminutive personal assistant had returned from her coffee run. Samantha, had initially been taller than Linda when they started together in the company. Over the year she had watched Linda rocket up in size as well as power, receiving promotion after promotion while getting sexier, bigger and stronger. This was probably why Linda had fought so hard to make sure Samantha would serve as her assistant. She was a marker for what Linda had started out as and for this reason Linda lived to belittle and almost even abuse her.
She called her Sammy, a nickname Samantha hated, and would boss her around at ever chance.
Today does this hazing kick up a notch or does Linda dish out a regular amount of belittling?
