Seeing everything so big just made you panic, so instead of being amazed that a dessert called shrinking strawberry pudding could actually shrink you, or complaining to the chef to see if they could grow you back some how you just decide to grab your clothes and get away from there.
"Um, where did he go? I wanted to get his feedback" the chef sighed and picked up the empty plate, with you no longer in sight and running to nowhere in particular. At half your original size you're a bit smaller than 3 feet, the size of a very small child wearing and adult's shirt and carrying stuff that starts to feel heavy on you. Fortunately, the mall is still almost empty so you don't find anyone in your path.
Feeling the weight of your shoes and pants starting to become a bit too much finally you calm down and sit against the wall, wondering what you should do now. Feeling your legs cold and the wind reaching parts it shouldn't you try right there to put some of your clothes back on but it's hopeless, you practically swim in them now. You feel that with enough effort you could fit both your legs in just one of the openings! So instead you just decide to do your best to tie them up around you, making it look like an awkward loincloth but at least providing some cover under the shirt. The shoes are another story, you just decide to leave them around in a corner and keep walking barefoot instead to not deal with the additional weight.
Once you start wandering again, you finally manage to calm down enough to plan what your next move could be. You could just go back to the bakery and see if they had a way to solve this, you don't recall the menu having a growing dessert but surely they must have an antidote, right? or you could instead go and try getting some clothes your size instead of prancing around like this first, you might look like a child, but at least if you look like a child in child clothes you won't attract as much attention. Or maybe you should just hide, hang around somewhere and hope this shrinking pudding thing is only temporary.
