Ellana was in an impossible position. Of all the things nagas were known for, honesty wasn't one of them. This naga appeared nice, but she had learned at a young age that desceptive appearances were tops in the arsenals of the wicked. The naga wouldn't have revealed itself in this way unless she knew what she wanted. Nagas were fast, so even if Ellana made a break for it, she probably wouldn't even make it to the nearest tree. That would only piss off the giant carnivore and that's never a good idea. The only safe option was to try getting on the serpant's good side by accepting.
"I, I think thats a pretty good idea Miss Naga."
The naga tilted her head and smiled. Her coils tightened up a bit as she lifted Ellana up to eye level. "That's nice, and for the record I'd like you to call me by my name from now on. Call me Vylite."
Ellana was almost too afraid to ask. "When you say 'from now on', exactly how long do you mean, Miss Vylite?"
Vylite's eyes flashed a different expression for a second. Ellana almost missed it, but she did see enough to send chills down her spine. "That's my little secret cutie."
