This choice: Maya and the boy go to her room • Go Back...Chapter #5Maya and the boy go to her room by: Unknown After a quick introduction, Maya's mom and the boy's mom quickly began talking back and forth like they were old friends. Maya took the boy, Greg, up to her room, seeing as his siblings were occupied and they were the only ones left without something to do.
Maya waddled up the stairs, which creaked loudly under her steps. Greg, who was so light compared to her, was silent as a mouse and followed her up the stairs.
"So, you moved into that old house at the corner?" Maya said.
"Oh, yeah. It's such a mess, but my dad likes a project..." He said and smiled.
Maya was surprised by his kind behavior. Most guys just made a face and walked away when they saw her, but she could never figure out why. Greg was a little confused, himself. He has had girlfriends before, and all of them had been stick skinny. Why was he so attracted to Maya? He was so lost in her eyes, he just blurted, "Wanna hang out sometime?"
Maya blushed. She had never figured out why no guys ever asked her out, and here was one, a hot, muscular guy who looked like he would just break if she said no. So she smiled and said,"Sure, I'd love to."
They chit chatted for a few more minutes, before Mrs. Field (Greg's mom) called him.
"Greg! We need to go before Sammy, Hannah and Kristy break something!"
Maya and Greg started down the stairs and sure enough, the three girls were running around, bumping things that were dangerously valuable.
Maya's mom laughed. "Oh, Emma, it's okay. All of this can be replaced." She said, gesturing to her expensive living room.
"All the same, Kendra, I would never forgive myself if I let them break something. Plus, I have a pot roast in the oven back at home."
"Aw, pot roast?!?!" The girl with the longest blond hair said.
"Yes, Hannah, pot roast."
"I like pot roast!" a tom-boyish looking girl said.
"Well, I'm glad you do, Kristy. Plus it's healthy, too."
"NO! I hate healthy food!" A really chubby girl said.
"Well, healthy food it good for you, Sammy. It keeps you strong."
"Well, I guess we should go." Mr. Field said, looking at Greg.
"Yeah, I guess so..I'll see you later Maya."
"Okay...bye Greg." | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
