This choice: "Let's just move on to the next area." • Go Back... "Let's just move on to the next area," you say with a hint of fear. After letting out a sigh, Stacey moves on. You follow up with your own sigh of relief and follow behind her. You follow her, along with the rest of the group, through a tight corridor until you reach a much larger room. In the middle of the room sat two glass chambers of which two people could easily fit inside. You begin to notice a similarity with the well known story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
As the group huddles up in a formation, the tour guide presents himself in front of you to give a brief presentation on the chambers that you were staring at. In your mind, the tour guide carried characteristics similar to Willy Wonka.
"What you are looking at, ladies and gentlemen, is just one piece of our equipment in producing the magic contained within our candy!" The tour guide smiles deviously. "These are the Transfer Pods!"
Curiously, you ask why they are called the transfer pods, but he simply replies by saying "Step into one of these pods and find out for yourself!"
Knowing full well that you are expected in walking into something stupid, you reject the offer.
"Very well," the tour guide finalizes his presentation, "The pods are open for use to anyone if you wish. Feel free to examine, and when you're all ready, we shall move on to the next area." He allows the group to disperse, but to your disapproval, Stacey moves straight towards the transfer pods.
"These looks so cool," Stacey says excitedly, "Why can't we have a go?"
"No," you scream in disgust, "I'm not doing it!"
"Shame," Stacey answers, "I was hoping that we could do something special later in my house, since my parents are away for the weekend. Never mind, let's just..."
At this moment you interrupt her and agree to try out the transfer pods. Excitedly you are dragged by the hand into one of the pods. As the door of the pod shuts tightly, you begin to have second thoughts. You felt vulnerable in the pod as the rest of the group began to crowd around you in anticipation. But what was more worrying was that you were now in the mercy of your girlfriend. You were trapped in a pod, awaiting for the unknown.
