You woke up on a giant bed, and looking around you you see a giant girl reading from a familiar book. "Oh good your awake. When you fell out of the sky in front of me, I was sure you would be dead. Judging from the jacket your a ra yellow, my name is mindy", she said. "I'm YN, so I fell?", you ask. "Yeah, along with this old book", mindy held the tome up. "That tome is how I got like this", you proceeded to tell the story.
FLASHBACK
You were in the Library studying old Legends of duel monsters, when you came across a story about the island, and a demon called Meldronna. The story went that she will give two rare cards to whoever can beat her in a duel. But Meldronna is known for being a strong opponent, being very cunning, and also perverted.
"Odd, I wonder what happens if someone loses", you flip the page but it doesn't say.
("In hindsight, checking it out was a bad move", mindy said as you glare.)
At the sight, you found a statue of a woman holding out her hand. You grab the hand and kiss it like a gentlemen, as the book instructed. Suddenly the stone turned to flesh, and the statue was a living woman. "A challenger? I haven't had a challenge in years. If you want a duel you got it. My name is Meldronna", then the two of you went to opposite sides of the clearing.
"DUEL!"
Meldronna: 4000
You: 4000
"Challengers first", Meldronna said. "I draw, I activate painful choice. I take 5 cards, and you pick 1. I have 2 Dark Grephers, 2 Armageddon knights, and soul release", you tell her. The demon chose soul release, and so you lost the 4 monsters. "I activate pot of greed, I get 2 cards. I activate foolish burial, this will let me send my 3rd Dark Grepher to the grave. Next soul release, it will let me banish all 5 monsters in the grave. Next are 2 continuous spells, The A. Forces, and spell economics", you declare.
