This choice: Follow the Mayor, Red's father, as he hunts them down • Go Back... "That Bastard!" Jason thought, when he heard the the news that Wolf had married his daughter.
For almost twenty years, the villiage had had an agreement with the Wolf Pack, in excange for not molesting the villagers, the village would give the Pack their best sheep and cows every year. Also, as part of the agreement, the village hunters wouldn't go after the wolfmen, as the village called them, as they seemed to be half man/woman and half wolf.
Suposedly, the agreement had been made because of the fact that, at the time, there was a large group of bandits that threatened both the Pack and the village, until the two groups decided to work together to ensure their own survival. Needless to say, despite their own dislike of the Pack, this would cause the rest of the families to vote against his idea. This is why he only brought it up on occassion. After all, he didn't want to lose his position as mayor.
Right now though, he and every other hunter had but one mission, find the two and bring them back. He had told the others that Wolf had kidnapped his daughter and taken her from the woods. There was no way that he would have a wolfman as a son-in-law.
Suddenly, one of the men said, "Mayor, there is someone up ahead."
"Who is it?" Jason asked, as he looked.
"It seems to be a messanger," said the man. "And by his outfit he must be from... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
