"That's before I heard how absurd it was. Like, did you hit or something? That's the most ridiculous story I've ever heard." Heather continued. "Seriously...possession." Heather continued.
"Look, I know it sounds crazy but its true." Tim tried to defend.
"Or maybe you just dreamed the whole thing up." Heather told him.
"But it wasn't a dream...or was it?" Tim thought. Maybe he was starting to imagine things. "Either way, that doesn't matter." Tim argued. "Where's mom?" He asked his sister.
"I don't know. She said she had to head out to run some errands or maybe see some friends or something." Heather answered.
"Okay thanks." Tim said as he headed out the door. He didn't even notice how Heather smiled as he went out searching for their mom.
"I wonder how long it will take for him to realize the car is still in the garage." Rebecca pondered as she leaned on Heather's hand. It felt wrong to lie to her son, but he was being such a spoil sport.
Either way that was keeping him busy for now. Now she could finally have some alone time. Although he did have a good point. As she saw her daughter's reflection, Rebecca couldn't help but ponder if it was truly right to possess her daughter. Maybe she should consider looking elsewhere.
