Silver gritted his teeth and pondered over what could've happened, how did he shrink? Was it Amy...no she was too nice. Maybe one of the many machines he had seen around? It was even possible that this was correlated to the Iblis Trigger, with the way Iblis devastated his world it definitely seemed possible. He looked at Amy and felt his rage calm, she was...beautiful while giant and asleep, but Silver was on a mission and he was going to see it through!
His first plan of action was obvious, get Amy's attention; right now Silver couldn't best one of the lousy robots he's seen around let alone the Iblis Trigger. But...there was a complication, this cave while an ideal resting spot had a small little river flowing down the middle, soothing and nothing to the normal sized but to Silver....it was chasm that went on for at least a couple miles, filled to the brim with roaring water. Even with telekinesis getting across was going to be difficult. But this was nothing compared to his mission, if anything it was a test to see his determination so Silver was determined to go for the challenge!
He started by lifting a few boulder sized pebbles via telekinesis and throwing them into the water....didn't help much since the water flew them away with ease. It meant making a bridge was out, so Silver had one other option...he would have to glide all the way across the river. He didn't just rush into it though, Silver played it smart. With his telekinesis he lifted multiple pebbles again, but instead of throwing them into the river he stacked them on top of one another, until he had a wobbly tower that seemed to be at least twenty feet tall. With ease Silver climbed to the top and looked over the landscape, if he messed this up that water was going to wash him away to god knows where, but if he succeeded he could get Amy to help him. He took a deep breath, visualized Blaze encouraging him, focused on reaching Amy and finally...Silver leapt into the air.
His hair-like spikes flew along with the air as he seemed to plummett towards the water but Silver used a short burst of telekinesis to sort of glide over a little bit, then he allowed gravity to take over, and then he used a short burst again. It seemed unneccessarily complicated but Silver was doing this for maximum range, years of fighting Iblis taught him much regarding how his powers could best be used. More than once Silver eyed the cave with a slight horror, if he messed up...the river would send him anywhere maybe even kill him, he might get killed by one of the sharper rocks, or god forbid he lands somewhere where Amy would unconciously crush him! It dazed him slightly but the hedgehog stayed focused and kept with his plan, but his mind was getting weak...he didn't have much strength left. He was almost there...just a couple inches to go...and...he did it! He was now safely gliding over land! All Silver had left to do was let gravity take over and use telekinesis one last time to ensure he landed safely!
Or at least...that's how Silver wished things played out, but fate was cruel. For some reason a sudden burst of wind tore through the cave, and being as small as a fly Silver was sent flying back towards the water, over halfway back through his journey. And to top it off, his strength finally gave out and he fell into the chilly water with a splash.
He swam up and gasped for air, the current knocked any physical strength out of his body. His mind was tired, his body too weak to do anything, still Silver attempted to swim far enough for shore, but the tide was against him...literally and when his back was turned to the water fate struck again; a pebble dislodged due to the current and smacked directly into Silver, in his weakened state he passed out almost instantly and sank into the water where the current dragged him away.
Even unconcious Silver got no rest, he honestly preferred his fate in the river than what his dreams held...Iblis, images of the various incarnations of the beast destroying his city, his friends, everything Silver loved Iblis attacked. Then the dream switched to Mephiles, who looked at him and reexplained the story regarding Iblis, a reminder to Silver and his mission...it filled him with vigor and courage...
"Iblis!!!!!" He roared as his body stood up.
Somehow Silver lived...and he washed somewhere, he was less than ten feet away from a water source, but tides carried him to land, he had to look to see where he was.....
