The day Hinata had learned Naruto was to be her partner had been a wonderful day. It had taken every ounce of restraint training she had to not grab the boy and start jumping for joy in the middle of the classroom. From the very day she'd met him, Hinata knew there was something special about him and over time had realized that she had developed a not so small crush on him. The fact that they had quite a few embarrassing moments during the academy years and still got along so well together only served to reinforce it further. And thou she would never admit to it without dam good reason, she had found some enjoyment during a few of those embarrassing moments. That however, was neither here nor there. So, seeing the blond boy of her dreams come running up to her, she quickly grabbed hold of him and brought him to face level, it wouldn't do to make him feel lesser then her.
“Good morning, Hinata!" Her excited blond partner greeted. "G-good morning Naruto." That was another thing that Hinata enjoyed. With her and Naruto spending some time together during the academy, Hinatas' stutter had slowly vanished. Now it only showed itself when surprised or slightly overwhelmed, and having Naruto near her for so long was still slightly overwhelming.
"Bout time you got here moron!" Hearing this Hinata couldn't help but frown. Kiba Inuzuka and his dog partner Akamaru made themselves known. Seeing as how Akamaru was bigger than Kiba he tended to ride his puppy around. Hinata didn't dislike the Inuzuka but, she really disapproved of how he could think insulting someone was a proper greeting. 'I'll punish him a little later.' Kiba was different from most of her class. Where most had found a partner rather easily, Kiba did not and had been simple placed on a 'random' team, under a 'random' kunoichi. Hinata was certain it was anything but, random and that she was chosen due to her being one of the few girls in class that could deal with him and didn't abuse her power over him. 'Doesn't mean I won't punish him later for his comments towards "MY" Naruto.'
A blush covered her cheeks at how she had just claimed Naruto as hers in her mind. She closed her eyes and brought a hand to her cheek as she imagined how life might turn out should they ever get to being romantic with each other. She was sadly shaken from her romantic fantasy by an elbow to the ribs, curtsey of one platinum blonde girl.
Sparing the blond a glance Hinata easily noticed the subtle gestures she was giving and couldn't help but, griminess at what she was implying. Quickly looking towards Naruto, who had jumped down to Kiba and started arguing with him, before she turned back to Ino. "Ino I can't do that! How could you even suggest it after what happened?" whispered the shy girl. "The dog-boy is getting on my last nerve Hinata and it's only morning. He was put under you even if he isn't classed as your partner, so do something about him will ya! Besides, it's not like those other boys were hurt, they all came out of you just fine." stated the irritated blond girl. "You know if I had had the choice I never would have done that." Hinata shot back. "Besides, look what happened. The teacher was fired and I was left going through two days of the worst case of bloating and indigestion I've ever had, so no thanks." "You can't say you didn't enjoy it even a little Hinata. Remember? Naruto worked so hard to make sure you would be alright and was fussing over you the whole time."
Hinata would admit that while being the center of Narutos attention had been wonderful, she hadn't been able to enjoy it much as she had been too busy making sure he never found out why she had been in such condition. "Come on Hinata. So the teacher made you swallow a jar full of small boys saying it was punishment for them and perfectly normal, only to find she was lying through her teeth and doing it to you simply for the kicks but, you can't let us suffer for it by letting the mutt run around with no restraint." as if to simply prove her point Hinata heard a shriek and saw Kiba on Akamaru being chased by Sakura who looked like she had just had her foot peed on.
Sighing Hinata realized that she would need to punish Kiba and Akamaru for that and really didn't feel like finding out if she could swallow the puppy just to punish Kiba. "There has to be a different way Ino." The blond was just about to say something but, was stopped by a puff of smoke as their current sensei appeared.
