You go to your closet and take out your cherished uniform. Your mother had it dry cleaned recently, so you unwrap it from the plastic and take it off the hanger. You strip off your pajamas and pt on your Blue and White cheerleader shirt. Your team name, "Warriors" is scrolled diagonally from your right shoulder to the bottom left on the front. Your cheer skirt is next, with its simple wrap-around style that comes down to mid-thigh. The skirt is solid blue with a white trim on the hem. You almost forget about your bloomers as they are in your dresser. The odd thing is that your bloomers are white, and some girls on the squad don't wear them to practice as they resemble panties anyway.
As you rummage through your dresser, it becomes apparent that they are not in there. You look at the time, and decide that you will just have to go to practice in your panties today. You quickly make sure that the panties you're wearing are indeed white. The white cotton panties you're wearing will have to do. You grab your backpack and head out the door.
You get your bike from the side gate and pedal as fast as you can to make sure you're not late. As you approach the school, you recognize some of your squadmates standing outside next to a tour bus. What makes it more odd is that they're in plain clothes and have duffel bags with them. You're out of breath as you get off your bike. you lock it next to the front gate and walk towards the bus. Your coach sees you and makes a beeline for you. Within seconds, she's in front of you.
"Where have you been? And why are you in your uniform?" she asks.
You reply, "We have practice today, so I'm wearing my uniform. Why is there a bus here?"
The woman answers, "Did you forget? Tomorrow we have a cheerleading competition in Virginia. We have to leave today so we can spend the night and be there for our morning performance. You were supposed to pack an overnight bag and have your uniform packed so it's clean for the competition."
Taken aback by your sudden forgetfulness, you realize that you are unprepared for the trip, and only have the clothes on your back (not to mention you're not even wearing your bloomers). Your coach seems to be getting angrier the longer you make them wait. You could try to go home to pack, but that would take too long. You could also choose to be left out of the competition. There are more than enough members to pull off the elaborate performance. It's up to you.
