Just around the corner I watched as Sandra looked for a pair of shoes to fit my mom. Meanwhile, mom sat on the couch waiting. Without the women noticing I fired a short burst at Karen. The beam hit her in the back and I watched excited as she gained a few inches. Mom hadn't noticed and just scratched the spot were the beam had hit her. I could see her clothes were a bit tighter on her now, but I was sure the women wouldn't notice.
"What are you doing?," a voice behind me said. It made me jump, but when I looked behind me I saw it was just my sister. Tina had her arms crossed over her chest and looked at me with a frown on her face. "Just watching mom getting some new shoes," I pointed in Karen's direction. "Huh? What do you mean? Who is that woman?," my sister asked. I told her it was just some saleswoman from Cushy Soft. "Really? Why didn't you tell me jerk!," Tina walked past me into the living-room.
I clenched my fist trying not to flip out and ruin my experiment. But then I realized, my sister just volunteered to be the third test subject. I smiled and looked back around the corner. Sandra was busy trying to put a shoe on my mother's foot. "What's wrong?," mom said impatient. I saw a few pair of the same shoes were spread around her feet. "Uhn..I'm sorry ma'am, but it doesn't fit," the saleswoman wiped the sweat from her forehead.
"Then try another one, the right size this time," Karen sure didn't look that excited anymore. "But, this is the biggest I got!," Sandra said. "Are you saying my feet are too big!?," mom was getting upset. "Hi mom, found anything nice yet?," my sister sat down next to Karen on the couch. "Tina, this woman says I've got to big feet for her shoes. Can you believe it?" "That's not what I...," Sandra was losing her patience. "Are you kidding my feet are bigger than my mom's," this was getting better by the second.
