Helena desperately tried to pull the creature's tentacle from around her waist. Her life began to flash before her eyes as she "knew" that this was the end of her life! She screamed and the whole excitement of this entire ordeal was too much for her conscious mind to handle and she fainted. For some strange reason which the creature could not comprehend why he was stunned by this and he released her leaving her unconscious on the bed. And he was dumbfounded on what to do next.
Then he smelt the crabs that she had left in her cabin. The instinct of hungry kicked in and he located them in her refrigerator and began to quickly devour them leaving a mess on her immaculately kept tan marble tile floor. When Helena woke up she yawned, "O my God what a horrible nightmare I just had!" But she heard the creature in her kitchen/dining area and yelled, "Hey that was the last of my crabs slime ball!" The creature turned, stopped for a moment and then ignored her and continued eating the rest of the food in her refrigerator! "Well of all the nerve!" Helena was pissed that the creature ignored her; no one ignored Helena the international classical diva who met with dignitaries from around the world! She got really mad and stomped over to the creature to give him, her, it a piece of her mind! She got up to him, he turned and she was pointing her finger and just when she opened her mouth to tell the creature off she realized. "I got the creature from the black lagoon raiding my refrigerator who could have had me as his main course," Helena thought to herself. "You want my crabs, all of my food I don't care...hey look at my floor! You made such a mess...never mind...." The creature made an articulation and Helena said, "Are you laughing at me?" Yes the creature's human part on a subconscious level was laughing at her. Then Helena started to giggle, and then she too was laughing hysterically. She thought, "I must have lost my mind, laughing with this creature from the depths of the sea.”
Then the creature stopped and Helena felt a deep sadness in the room. And a single tear ran down her cheek. "You are so sad...you must be lonely... it’s as though you don't fit in down there or up here..." Helena began to have pity on the creature. Saddened without knowing why he turned and looked at the doorway to exit her cabin.
