A fair didn't sound all that interesting to be honest, just a bunch of carnies using simple magic to "ooh" and "aah" the local farmers. And if the local enchantment store had anything new, chances are it would be an old book on "How to Determine the Nose of a Dragon From It's Tail". Yes, the costume shop was sounding better and better every second. You tried to remember where it was in the Trade District when you came a cross a large brightly colored sign on the wall.
"Zorgo's Costumes and Disguises." you read aloud, "We have costumes of all shapes and sizes, if you're looking to disguise yourself as a gnome or a dragon! We have it all in a wide selection of options! Cheap and well designed! Your friends will be amazed! Hah, this should be good."
You followed the directions of the sign, ended up at a small store near the barber shop. You immediately realized you were in the right place. A giant orc walked out of the shop with a grin on his face. You knew it was a costume because no orc would be allowed to set foot in the city, but it seemed almost too real. As you opeedn the door, the bells rung and alerted the clerk. He was a balding gnome with wild white hair who seemed more than eccentric. He wore spectacles that seemed to swirl in the lens. He almost gave you the impression of a mad scientist.
"WELCOME!" he screamed, "I'm Zorgo! Owner of this fine establishment! We sell the best costumes this side of the Eastern Kingdoms! Now, what can I do you for my lovely lady? Looking for a costume are we? How about an elf costume? Those seem to be very popular with the younger crowds. Or perhaps something bigger? I know I have some-"
You had to clear your throat to break Zorgo's talking. "Sorry, I'm just...browsing I guess. What sort of costumes do you have though?"
Zorgo instantly gleamed like he was waiting all day for you to say that. "Oh I see! Can't make up your mind? Well we have your typical humanoid costumes. You know; like elf, orc, tauren, gnome, etc. Then we have the more unusual stuff like horses or other animals. Would you like to see some of them?"
