Zach looked up wildly at his giant big brother, craning his neck as high as he could, but his view was quickly overtaken by the giant man's stomping feet.
He felt his body shake and trembled as he made a split second decision to jump out of the way, a decision that would save his life as the tons of giant man came down with a ferocious stomp where he had just been only moments before.
The impact of the foot was so strong, that it sent Zach tumbling even further than he had intended, only managing to stop and right himself after hitting the floor hard.
He rolled himself onto all fours, looking up at Zach, face red, heart beating, and breathing heavily.
"Matt!" he screamed. He watched as his giant brother stomped towards the computer, and stepped in front of his computer chair.
The man stood still for a moment, moving seemingly slower than usual, until he started to fall backwards! Zach could hear the wind move around Matt's massive body as the skyscraper sized man sat down. He sat on the computer chair with a boom like low thunder, and the chair groaned and creaked beneath his weight. The wheels screeched as they dragged against the hardwood floor, and Zach had to cover his ears to protect himself.
"Okay, I'm okay," Zach said. He watched as Matt typed away at the computer, sending him an email to check on him.
"I just gotta let him know I'm still here. While not getting stepped on," Zach said.
"How hard could that be?" Zach asked himself, but a tiny crack in his voice gave way to a slight shudder of fear.
He steeled himself, and calmed his nerves before deciding to march towards his giant big brother.
He quickly made his way beneath the computer chair, where all he could see were Matt's denim covered calves and socked feet.
His legs were crossed at the ankles, but he was staying pretty still.
As he approached Matt's feet, Zach recognized a familiar smell. He covered his nose as the air around him became heavy with the pungent scent of Matt's feet. It was sour, kind of like hot garbage, but had musky notes like the scent of a skunk.
Zach pinched his nose, but paused for a moment before deciding to let go.
He breathed deeply, taking the scent of his big brother's feet into his lungs before coughing and spluttering.
Zach laughed to himself, amused by the powerful scent of his brother's feet. He was a mere foot away, enveloped in the sluggish heat radiating off the heel. He stepped closer, until he was beneath it's shadow, the sole of Matt's soft foot acting as a type of shelter, and for a moment he was comforted, feeling safe in the heat and smell of his brother's feet.
"Alright," Zach said between coughs before deciding to pinch his nose once again, and breathe through his mouth. "What should I do now?"
"He's probably already sent the email, and now he'll spend the rest of the night online. I should climb him! Yeah! That'll be awesome, too!"
Zach thought for a moment, "Hm, but he might be too big to climb. Maybe I can look around and see if there's anything useful? Like a cable to climb onto his desk, or something?"
The teenage boy took a deep breath, this time through his nose, finding it too troublesome to keep pinching it.
"Mmm, smells so bad, but so good," Zach sighed. He looked up, up at the 'ceiling,' which was just the arch and heel of Matt's foot. The heat made him yawn, and he suddenly felt so sleepy.
"I could just," Zach yawned again. "I could just.. I could..."
