Your Mom

Entering the house juggling several bags of groceries, her purse, and the house keys, your Mom sees you and says, "Hey son! Who were you talking to?", as she sees you don't have your cell phone out, and sees no one else in the room, "Phew! Is that incense?".
"Mom! I didn't expect you home so ear-", you start to say, but she cuts you off, saying, "You know how I get a headache from that stuff. Where did you find that hideous old lamp? I want you to take it out to the garage while I unload these groceries, okay?".
"But Mom-", you begin.
"No buts, young man", she says as she heads into the kitchen, "I have to head right back out as soon as I unpack these bags, and I'll need you to watch the place while I'm gone. No going anywhere, and no more incense, understand?"
