This choice: Reassure Laura it's alright; you don't mind if she has to do anything like that. • Go Back...Chapter #5Reassure Laura it's alright; you don't ... by: R682 "It's alright," you reassure Laura, still trying to be supportive despite this revelation. She's made enough of an positive impression on you so far that there's a lot you're prepared to forgive at this point, or make allowances for. Normally, you might feel pretty judgemental about this kind of thing, but you realise, too, just how much trust Laura is placing in you by being completely honest about it. It seems to be a sign, too, how comfortable Laura must already feel around you, and how confident she must be in your acceptance, in order to be so frank. "I don't mind if you have to do anything like that," you promise, telling yourself it's only a matter of pragmatic necessity. Everybody pees, and it Laura's case, if she needs a diaper then she needs a diaper. Never having been in her kind of position yourself, who are you to judge?
"Aw, thanks," Laura smiles agreeably, "you're a sweetie."
She reaches out a shaky hand towards you, and you find yourself taking it; holding hands with a girl for the first time, for no particular reason. What's more glancing at Laura's face to check her reaction, you see a sudden distant expression, and her little smile becoming a slightly guilty one. Is this what she meant about her mum always being able to tell? Is she peeing right now?
Apparently so,
"Ah, that's better," Laura announces, after a few long drawn out moments of hand holding that seem to stretch forever. "Thank you for helping me," she finally takes back her hand, leaving you rather stunned. Did the two of you just have a moment here, in the most bizarre of circumstances?
