Follow Adam as he goes for a walk

by: Some Random Person Author IconMail Icon
Deciding that he wanted to get to know the place he would be staying at, Adam went for a walk around the building. He passed by several rooms, like the kitchen, dining room, and a living room. He then came to another door that seem to catch his interest and felt like he realy wanted to see what was behind it even though it didn't look any different from the other doors. He then opened it to see it looked like a play room for kids. It was a pretty big room, with a lot of different toys around the room. He looked around at the many different kinds, not noticing he payed the most attention to the toys for girls like the dolls and dollhouse in the corner. He then saw a window and looked out to see a large playground in the backyard. "Looks like fun for kids." he commented.

"Someone in here?" Adam heard someone say, and saw a boy his age poke his head in.

"Oh, hi." Adam greeted the guy. "You must be one of the other people staying here. I'm Adam."

"Hey, my names Mike." he greeted in return. "Lookin around the house too?"

"Yeah, just thought I check out some other rooms and ended up here."

"Me too." Mike said. "Hey I gotta ask, is your room as stupid as the one I ended up with? I picked a room that used to belong to some 9 year old girl." Mike said.

"Really? I'm staying in a used to belong to an 8 year old girl." Adam said with interest, though he wasn't really sure why.

"Our luck sucks, huh? My 14 year old sister Jenny is staying here too, and she picked the room right next to mine and ended up with a room that looked like some high school football player. When I asked if she wanted to switch, she laughed and said no."

"That sucks."

"Well anyway, I'm gonna keep looking around. See ya." Mike said and left the room.

Deciding to head back to his room, Adam left the play room as well. As he walked, he had a feeling that him and Mike were gonna get along great even though they had just met.
