Who is this person? by: tintrue Sakaki proceeded around the street's corner, only to be met with a crash into something quite hard. Causing her to tumble onto the floor, Sakaki landed on her back and soon felt something soft fall onto her face as well.
"Oh goodness! I'm terribly sorry, I didn't see you there!" A voice unfamiliar to Sakaki was heard by her, a voice which she was unable to distinguish from male or female just from hearing it.
Putting her hands onto her face, she felt them sink into the soft object that had fallen square onto her face, blocking her vision. It would seem the object wasn't completely stable, crumbing as her slender hands pressed into it. Her prodding had caused some of the object to go into her mouth, which flew onto her tastebuds and greeted them with a strong pang of lemon.
Eventually grabbing the object and pulling it off her face, Sakaki could see that the culprit that blocked her vision was a small lemon cheesecake. Splatters and dashes of lemon sauce were still present on her face, urging Sakaki to lick as much off her face as she could. She greatly enjoyed the vast flavours of the cheesecake entering her mouth.
Moving her eyes upwards, she also laid eyes on the figure that currently stood over her, reaching an extended hand outwards to her, along with a worried expression plastered onto the person's face.
The figure before her had light brown hair, which was cut just above the shoulders Despite the worried face, the person had a pair of bright gleaming green eyes that shone as the sunlight reflected off them. The figure wore a white, short sleeved shirt that sported a few thin, black strips around the cuffs and vertically across the whole shirt. There was also a small blue tie which wrapped around the collar of the shirt well. A belt was fastened onto some long, blue trousers which fit perfectly on the person's legs. Their figure was tall and slim, with the trousers and shirt confirming the slender physique of the person. Sakaki was snapped back into her sense by the voice of the person in front of her.
"Here, take my hand. That was quite the fall you had." The hand of the figure was still reaching outwards so that Sakaki could be able to hold onto it. She reached and grasped onto the hand that was offered to her, and with a heave she was back up on her feet thanks to the stranger.
"Are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?" The person asked Sakaki.
"Yes, I'm fine. Thanks for helping me back up." Sakaki replied.
"Phew, that's a relief! Too bad I can't say my cake is alright!" The person scratched the back of his head, chuckling a little.
Sakaki soon noticed that she still held the ruined cheesecake in her left hand, which was thankfully not the one she used to grab onto her helper's hand. "Sorry about your cake" She said, a pang of guilt in her voice.
"Don't sweat it, I can just get a another one easily. My dad won't be too happy though. You see, he owns a bakery just a few blocks away and I'm free to take some of the stock if he allows it. He's teaching me how to cook as well, I'm already getting the hang of it." The stranger explained.
"Oh, okay then. Still, I'm quite sorry....." Sakaki trailed off, realising that she didn't know the person's name.
"Snap, I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Kei, Kei Yuta. I'd shake hands, but we've already done that, haven't we?" Kei chuckled some more.
"I'm Sakaki, it's a pleasure to meet you." A warm smile crossed her face, still covered in lemon sauce.
"Oh, here. Clean your face with this." Kei reached into his pocket and took a large handkerchief out, passing it to Sakaki.
"Thank you" She replied, wiping her face clean. "I must say, your dad is a great cook. This cake is delicious."
"Yeah, he knows how to make some pretty sweet treats! You can have that if you want, just wrap it into your handkerchief!" Kei said in return.
"Oh, thanks Kei." She wrapped the cheesecake into her used handkerchief. "I still feel guilty about the cake. I must make it up to you,"
"There's really no need, but you want to, go ahead." Kei said.
"Are you free after school? We can meet up and I'll buy you something in return." Sakaki suggested.
"That sounds good to me! Where do you want to meet at?" Kei asked.
"Well......"
Kei Yuta
