Finds Hakuna Matata To Be Too Freeing

It had been more than three years since Simba had ran away after the awful stampede. Timon and Pumbaa had taken him under their wing ages ago, and the three were inseparable best friends. That wasn't the only change for Simba, though.

As he grew older, and nearly reached maturity, he had become less and less motivated to run, swim, or really do anything but sleep, eat, and lay around. His body was showing the effects of this change as well. His belly hung more than a foot down past his chest, and his midsection had swollen out around six inches past its usual size. His neck was thicker, showing the beginning (and middle) of a double-chin, and his legs were definitely more fleshy than muscled.

What's more, he welcomed this change. In Simba's mind, the less he looked like a king, the less he'd ever have to be king. Why go back to the pridelands when he had two best friends, a lavish jungle, and enough bugs to feed ten lions for life? Speaking of which, he thought, it had been almost an hour since his last snack...
