This Lifestyle Continues For Some Time

Another month had gone by, and Simba had fallen even further into his new lifestyle, to be as lazy as lionly possible. And he was getting the results he wanted. Days of lazing by the local river, resting and eating with no cares in the world, put his mind at ease, and he felt peace. He also felt the added weight of his gluttony and laziness. He was really growing out now, and looked as fatty as Pumbaa- only more startling, as a fat lion was rare.

His paunch had grown another few inches, but the real bulk had come in his back and midsection- he had rounded out almost another foot, making him look overstuffed. His legs were thicker than some of the trees around him, and the lion's mane was starting to be overshadowed by his double, almost triple, chin.

Timon and Pumbaa had noticed his change, and asked him if he was feeling OK. "Better than ever, not a care in the world!" came Simba's reply. "I'm honestly as happy as I could ever be. Thank you two so much for all you've done. Come on, let's pig out!" The meerkat and warthog were a bit worried, but figured if he was happy, why stop him? Timon even decided he might indulge a little more often to give Simba more company, too.
