Bob was feeling great! He had defeated all the enemies that were attacking the city and even some from around the world! Bob felt like he was truly in his prime again. He drove home after a great day at his new job with the government and he felt like the luckiest guy in the world. Bob got home to find everyone was not there. Bob walked around and eventually ended up in the kitchen where there was a note for him on the counter:
Dear Bob,
Sorry we're not here right now. Dash is off on that summer training camp for young heroes. Viloet and I are having a girl's week in LA. Sorry you're by yourself, but there's a package here on the counter from the government for you that might make you happy!
Love,
Helen
Bob looked over and saw the package. It was a box tied up with steel cables. Bob easily opened it and checked out the contents. It included a plane ticket a pair of swim trunks that were a size larger than he was, but it was ok because it had a draw string, a large t-shirt that was again too large, a wrist communicator, a couple of wads of money, some poker chips and a schedule with a note clipped to it. Bob removed that paper clip and looked at the heading of the note:
To Mr. Incedible,
Your many years of service have not gone unnoticed. Along with a pay raise, we are sending you on a two week cruise around the Mediterranean sea. Everything is paid for in full. Go and enjoy yourself!
Bob smiled to himself, noting that he definitely was the luckiest guy in the world.
