Though she eventually succeeded in saving Hope, who in turn saved the mutant race, once her mission was done, Rogue retreated from her duties as an X Man, holing up in some out of the way diner and eating copious amounts of food to try and forget about her half-brother and her loss.
Four months later...
Storm entered the diner, just to rest, for she was sure she was no closer to finding Rogue than she had been ever since Cyclops had sent some of the X Men out to look for her.
Ordering some food, Storm sighed as she thought of her former teammate and friend, wondering where she was.
A loud belch to her right cut off her thoughts and as she turned to reprimand whoever had been so rude, she was shocked to see that familiar white/brown hair.
It was Rogue...but a changed Rogue.
The formerly untouchable mutant was now hugely obese, looking like she weighed around two hundred and seventy pounds, most of it in her huge rear, her belly taking the rest of the weight, the cream-white gut unable to be covered by her food stained shirt.
"Rogue?!"
The woman didn't turn. Storm finally got up and walked over, touching her on the shoulder.
That got her attention.
"Ororo...URRRRRP...leave me alone..." Rogue farted then, the stench causing Ororo to summon some wind to blow it away.
