Set after 'Dawn of the Dragon', Spyro and Cynder have new expansion based adventures.
This choice: Cynder startles him  •  Go Back...
Chapter #4

Cynder startled him.

    by: Unknown
A fast moving island hovered its way past Spyro, a densely forest platform with a peculiar meadow right in the center of the flora. A flickering light flashed from it, provoking the purple dragon to find the source of this mysterious illumination.

He looked back and saw Cynder still asleep, but she was beginning to stir. Spyro would have waited for her, but when he looked back, he saw that the island was quickly disappearing from his sight. He couldn't wait.

With a sigh, Spyro launched himself away from the cave's entrance. While flying to his desired location, the purple dragon could not help but feel guilty at leaving Cynder behind. But this strange phenomena he had to investigate.

Closing into the island, the glinting object began to take form. It looked like some sort of...

"Gotcha!" A familiar voice called from above.

Startled, Spyro looked up before he was crashed into by a black figure. He lost his balance and began to fall, but two powerful arms grabbed a hold of his chest, saving him from his plummet.

The purple dragon didn't need to know who the prankster was, but he couldn't resist to roll his eyes. "Cynder, really?" Spyro groaned.

A giggle came from the black dragoness. "You should've told me where you where going first."

Spyro let loose a frustrated sigh. "Can you let me go?" he asked, not unkindly.

"Alright, but can you manage to fly on your own?" Cynder asked.

Spyro nodded and Cynder let go with a "OK". Spyro fell, but quickly gained his composure. He flew up to her, saying: "Sorry I left you; but there was this island I had to explore. He pointed towards the exact platform that was drifting ever further away.

Cynder looked towards it and raised her eyebrow. "Well, if it's so interesting that you would be willing to abandon me, I guess I would go check it myself."

Together they flew, coming closer to the island. There was that flicker yet again, mesmerizing both dragons. Rather flying straight to the source, Spyro and Cynder landed on the outskirts of the forest and proceeded to walk towards the clearing.

Exiting the lush forest, Spyro and Cynder headed off to the light, that shone with more intensity then before. It began to take shape, revealing it to be...
