A week had passed since Cynder announced that she was expecting and obviously implying that Spyro was going to be a daddy soon. During those days the purple dragon tried his best to ignore the ominous presence floating over this pregnancy, saying to himself that it was only the paranoid thoughts of a father-to-be, but it refused to leave.
It was at the beginning of the second week that odd things began to happen, starting first with Spyro: the purple dragon suddenly found himself strangely horny on certain days, ten spite the fact that the annual mating-season was months away.
He tried his best to ignore it, but one night his bullocks became visible from too much seed filling it, and the purple dragon, to preserve his dignity, knew he had to relieve himself. So, he asked Cynder help.
At first she refused, saying that it could damage her eggs, but Spyro insisted, telling her that it won't. Cynder finally agreed after a while, and the purple dragon recieved some much needed vaginal penetration.
The black dragoness enjoyed it too, but it wasn't nearly as pleasurable as when she was in heat.
After that Spyro's balls, and arousal, subsided, but it signaled the start of Cynder's odd behavior. It first began with her complaining about pains in her stomach, which startled Spyro.
They went for a checkup immediately, and what they found was surprising, but not alarming or serious: Cynder, according to the doctor, was going to be carrying a maximum of two eggs, but the checkup revealed that two more were forming, setting the number at four.
This obviously thrilled Cynder, but it only made Spyro more worried for two reason.
Firstly: he was afraid that that he wasn't fit to have so many children at once, that he would never be able to take care of each of them like a father should.
Secondly: Spyro still felt the ominous presence over this pregnancy, now telling him that what happened wasn't normal at all.
Still, Spyro ignored it, for he wanted to be a father, telling himself that he could handle anything that was thrown his or Cynder's way, knowing little of how wrong he was.
