Ember stared at the amulet, at the gleaming gold, at the sparkling emerald set in it. She still harbored feelings for the purple dragon, even though he turned her down and loved Cynder.
Now she could change that. Now Ember could make Spyro fall in love with her. Her conscience was telling that stealing ones lover away was wrong, but she wanted Spyro badly.
When it came to something she desired, Ember would stop at nothing until she had it. It was a dark part in her sweet personality.
"I'll take the amulet!" said Ember.
She quickly reached out towards her satchel, fishing out five golden coins, slamming it on the table.
Lumeria eyed the gold coins. "Are you sure?" she asked, "Remember: you would turn into something HE will find attractive."

"Thank you," said Ember, taking the amulet.
"No," said Lumeria with a smile, "Thank you!"
The pink dragoness left the tent, Lumeria standing in the entrance, waving as she left.
A sinister grin spread across her muzzle, her eyes turning yellow, her pupils turning into slits. "Oh, young one, if only you knew what the purple dragon desires," the fox said, her voice sounding oddly distorted.

Ember trotted down the street, towards the temple that stood high up on a hill, the golden amulet swaying left and right around her neck, humming a happy tune to herself.
But when she reached the temple, Ember began to sway, the world spinning around her, for she was lightheaded.
"What going on?" she asked herself, stumbling into her room, clutching her head.
Ember fell down on her bed, groaning, feeling sick. She didn't know it but the amulet was glowing. After moaning and groaning for a while, the feeling soon disappeared.
She lifted her body from the bed. "What the hell was that?" Ember said.
Both her voice sounded and her body felt different for some reason. She went towards her mirror to examine herself. Ember jaw went slack at what she saw...
