You just assumed that it would be one of these harmless mixed sleepover, where the boys and girls sleep in separate rooms, oh man you were totally wrong, but off course you didn't know it at that time.
Normally you aren't a fan of sleepovers, but as mentioned before you have a rather huge crush on Betty, you decide to accept her invitation, but because you are too shy to approach her directly in front of her friends, you just show her a shy little smile, and apparently she understands your gesture, as she smiles back at you.
While you are well aware that you don't need to give Betty a birthday present, you still want to give her one, mostly because you want to show her that you like her. Unfortunately it is the first time that you intend to buy a girl you like a present, and therefore the only thing that comes to your mind, is to buy her an elegant sliver necklace, of course you could also ask your Mother, she might give you a useable idea for a suitable present, or you could haphazardly look for a present at the local shopping mall.
