Mark wakes up 30 pounds later.

Mark opens his drowsy eyes and squints into the darkness drying to adjust to the light. He had almost forgotten he was in a hospital bed in the middle of an experiment. He wasn't even sure what he agreed to or when it was going to happen.

He felt very strange. The hospital clothes were tighter than he remembered and a little uncomfortable. He moved his arms and realized there were tubes coming out all over his body. A rather thick looking one stuck out of his pot belly. Wait pot belly? He looked at his body and gasped. He looked like he put on some weight, how did this happen! He hit the button for the nurse.

The door to the room opened letting in the white light from outside, slightly illuminating the room. "Theres something wrong nurse" he stammered.
"I'm so sorry Mark you weren't supposed to wake up until the experiment is over." She said in an apologetic tone. She lifted the gas mask from the side of his bed and started to turn it on. Mark looked over his shoulder and saw the fat woman in the bed next to him with tubes jetting out of her body as well.

"Wait whats going on here, stop!" He shouted.

"You delusional Mark, its just a side affect from the gas we gave you. Go back to sleep." She said.

She struggled to put him back to sleep as Mark fought away the mask.
