"Car 147. Car 147." The call came over the radio.
Frank picked up the microphone. "Dispatch. This is Car 147. Over."
"Cynthia Stripes is stuck in a tree on 6th and Main."
Frank groaned. "Isn't it the fire department's job to rescue cats stuck in trees?"
"You remember what happened last time," said Dispatch.
"I'll have you know I'm happily married, and I don't want to mess that up by having some alleged 'Damsel in Distress' deciding to 'reward me' by getting into my pants!" Frank exclaimed. "Can't someone else do it."
"You know, it's funny, but there seems to be a wave of small crimes occurring, from Jaywalking to King Konging, to Dragons Having Too Much Hot Sauce, and a bunch of other similar crimes that happened just as we called the other cars."
Frank rolled his eyes. "Can't blame any of them," he muttered.
"What was that?"
"We're on it!"
Frank hung up the microphone and started to head towards the address. "Seventh time this month she's done this."
"What?" Jeremiah asked.
"Cynthia is a neko, or a catgirl, who likes to climb up trees, only to kick the ladder and claim to be stuck, and needing to be rescued," said Frank. "It's just a ploy to jump on her rescuer and get into their pants."
"Can she get down on her own?" Jeremiah asked.
"She could, but she'd call and complain about us not doing our job," said Frank as he drove past a dragon officer, who was involved with a fight with another dragon.
"Say, shouldn't we help that officer?" Jeremiah asked.
"They're brothers, and are wrestling over who will sleep with the wife tonight," said Frank. "Female dragons like to sleep with winners, although given how their respective wins and losses are even, I suspect they make arrangements beforehand."
"How do you know this?" Jeremiah asked.
"Work with a guy for twenty years, you learn about these things," said Frank.
Soon enough, they arrived at the location, and saw the catgirl seemingly stuck up in a tree.
"Could one of you boys be a gentleman and rescue me?" she asked.
Frank rolled his eyes. "Sure thing."
"So, what do we do?" Jeremiah asked.
Frank chuckled. "It's simple really."
