Hinata is currently resting in the infirmary, greatly injured from her fight with her cousin Neji. The young heiress of the Hyuga clan knew she couldn’t defeat Neji as he was considered the greatest prodigy of their clan, despite being from the Branch House. She wanted to prove herself in front of the person she respected and admired the most, Naruto. However, it seemed like it was all for not as her cousin not only defeated her but outright humiliated her as if she was nothing but a helpless child.
Hinata’s thoughts are interrupted as the door of her room opens, revealing to be her father, Hiashi Hyuga and her sensei, Kurenai Yuhi. Hinata is taken aback in surprise and fear at the sight of her father and teacher, and by the looks on their faces, they weren’t happy. “Hinata, there is something that we need to discuss,” Hiashi sternly states.
“W-what is it, F-father?” stutters Hinata, her habit returning as her father’s presence would always make her very nervous.
“It’s about your loss to your cousin, Neji,” answers Hiashi, causing Hinata’s eyes to widen as the fear inside her grew. “Your lack of sufficient progress in your training in the Gentle Fist was embarrassing in of itself, however losing to Neji, a member of the Branch House, is simply inexcusable! You not only disgraced yourself as the heiress but also the Hyuga Clan itself!” Hiashi exclaimed, his composure not lost as his face was now twisted into one of cold fury. Hinata started to shake as tears began to fall down her cheeks. She knew her father was never satisfied with her progress in her training, no hard she tried, but to hear such words from him were like daggers stabbing at her already damaged heart. “As of this moment, you are no longer the heiress of the Hyuga clan, or even a Hyuga for that matter!” Hiashi declared, causing Hinata’s spirit to be completely crushed. She couldn’t believe it; she wasn’t completely surprised that she would be heiress anymore, but father was fully disowning her?! What will she do? Where will she go? As if reading her mind, Hiashi says, “Normally, you would put in the Branch House, but your sensei has a better idea for you,” gesturing to Kurenai, who was looking at her student with a cold expression. “It has been decided that you will spend the rest of your life serving Kurenai Yuhi as her slave. Maybe this time, you’ll prove to be useful to someone for once in your life,” after saying that, Hiashi then leaves the room, leaving behind Kurenai with the heartbroken Hinata.
Hinata turns her head towards Kurenai, hoping to get some form of help from her teacher, “Kurenai-Senesi-” however she would have none as she cut off by a strong backhand to the cheek from Kurenai, snapping the preteen girl’s head to the side. Hinata turns back to Kurenai, her eyes widened with shock, hurt and betrayal from the hit she got from one of the people she trusted the most.
“Don’t speak to me unless I permit it, slave. And don’t call me “sensei” either. You’re hardly deserving of being recognized as my student, you pitfall disgrace!” Kurenai snaps, looking down at her once considered student with a disgusted sneer. Hinata flinches at her cruel words, especially at being called a slave “I didn’t really expect you to beat Neji, but I honestly never expected you to perform as horrendously as what you had displayed today. And if that wasn’t bad enough, you had earlier saw fit to show kindness to that demon!” she finishes, making Hinata confused, demon? Who was she referring to? Kurenai scoffed, rolling her eyes at the confused look on Hinata’s face “The Uzumaki boy! He’s nothing but a troublemaker! The only thing one can expect from that little brat is the misery he’ll inevitably cause to those around him!” Kurenai exclaims, rage slowly building up in her as the mere thought of Naruto angered to no end. She hated the kid due to his connection to the Nine-Tails, the very monster who killed her father and a lot of her friends. She could never fully move on from that incident and struggled to keep herself from acting against Naruto in any way whenever they were in the same vicinity.
A foreign sense of courage filled Hinata’s soul as she wanted to speak up on Naruto’s
behalf. She may not believe in herself, but she had always believed in him. “Naruto isn’t like that! He’s-” Hinata is cut off once again as Kurenai’s hand grabs her by the hair before throwing her hard to the wall behind her. Hinata’s body makes a loud impact sound as it crashes into the wall before falling face first on the ground. The young former Hyuga can only lie helplessly on the ground as her body wracked in pain. She tries to lift her head up, but it immediately crashes back onto the floor as Kurenai pins it with her right foot
“What part of “Don’t speak to me unless I permit it” did you not understand, slave?” Kurenai asked rhetorically, her ruby gaze practically glowing with rage, angered that her property had not only disobeyed her, but dared to talk back. She begins to grind her foot side to side on the helpless girl’s head, making her whimper in pain. “I honestly don’t care about your disgusting infatuation with that demon brat, but it seems that you need to be taught your place; which is beneath my feet,” the Jonin says in an ominous tone, filling Hinata with dread at what Kurenai was possibly going to do to her. After quickly weaving a few hand signs, Kurenai places Hinata in a genjutsu, causing the poor girl to scream loudly in agony as she is relentlessly tortured by whatever illusion Kurenai had put her in. Hinata wiggles her body around, desperately trying to get Kurenai’s foot off her head, but however the older woman just lifts up her other foot before slamming onto the preteen’s back, rendering her now immobile. Hinata can now only lie helplessly under her new owner’s feet, her screams getting louder as the pain refuses to stop, tears streaming down her face like waterfalls. Kurenai looks down at her slave with a smirk, proud of the punishment she was dishing out on Hinata, the girl’s screams becoming music to the red-eyed woman’s ears. “Like I said before, your place is beneath my feet,” Kurenai says, grinding her foot on Hinata’s cheek, rubbing salad in the wound while reinforcing the point in the most literal way possible.
Eventually Kurenai decided that Hinata had enough punishment for one day and dispelled the genjutsu, reducing the poor girl’s screams to mere whimpers. Her body was shaking in excruciating pain, still feeling some of the effects of the illusion even after it went away. Kurenai steps off of Hinata before turning to stand over her laying form,“So, have you finally learned your lesson?” she asked in a condescending tone. Hinata manages to slightly nod at her former teacher, wincing at doing so, as just simply nodding her head hurts like hell. Kurenai feignedly thinks to herself “Really, because I don’t think you have. You’re going to convince me otherwise.” Kurenai said with a smirk, wanting to instill more fear into her slave to see how she’ll react.
Panicking, Hinata uses all of her strength to lift up head, before kissing the top of Kurenai’s toes. “Please have mercy, Mistress Kurenai. Please,” she pathetically begs, continuing to kiss each and every one of the woman’s toes. Kurenai smirk grew, enjoying the feeling of the little girl’s lips pressing against her toes while begging for mercy.
Kurenai uses her left foot to lift Hinata’s head from under her chin. “That’s better, slave. I’ll have a healer come and treat your wounds and a few more days of rest, I’ll take you to your new home to start your new life,” the woman says. Kurenai steps on Hinata’s head before callously walks on her body, as she makes her way to the door, opening it before closing it behind her after leaving Hinata’s room, leaving the battered girl on the ground sobbing helplessly, lamenting at her situation and fearful of her bleaker future.
