The rest of the bus looked at the pair curiously, causing them to lower their voices as they noticed the attention. Once their classmates turned away, Janesa and Miranda inspected you closely.
"What happened to you? And-and why are you so small??" Miranda asked you.
The pressure and fear you felt at being in this situation was overwhelming, but you somehow managed a response.
"I-I don't know. I went into t-that room we weren't supposed to go in."
"Huh?" They clearly didn't remember.
"Well, we have to take care of you somehow! You could be stepped on or something!" Janesa said to you.
"But, which one of us should take you home after we get off the bus?" Miranda asked.
They looked at you. Apparently, the choice was yours.
