The morning sun woke Matt early the next day which was unusual since he was normally not an early riser. Most days his snooze button got punched a couple of times before he even thought of getting up. Today through his eyes snapped open before his alarm even had a chance to sound. Inexplicably wide awake and full of energy he looked around wondering how he had come to be in his daughter's room. He could understand wandering back to his own room in the night but he couldn't for the life of him understand how he could wind up in Kate's bed.
It wasn't until he sat up and felt a strange weight shifting on his chest that he realised more than his surroundings had changed. He looked down and saw a pair of mounds on his chests pushing out the top of a Garfield nightshirt. Confused more than alarmed at first he patted at his chest thinking to dislodge whatever was stuck under there. It was the familiar feeling of soft flesh giving way under his hands that finally made the connection for his disorientated brain.
"Breast?" he gasped his voice a breathy squeak "I have breast? How...? When...?"
His mind reeled at the realisation that his body had changed in the night and not just his chest. With a surreal dreamlike clarity, he noted his hands were smaller and neatly manicured. His arms slim and weak and long fair hair brushed over his narrow shoulders. When he kicked the sheets off he saw his legs were smooth and feminine and pulling up the hem of the shirt he found a pair of plain cotton panties covering the flat empty space between his legs.
"Oh holy shit!" he squealed "I'm a fucking girl!"
Not just any girl, he realised, seeing his new reflection in Kate's mirror for the first time, but his own daughter.
His head span and a wave of nausea swept over him. All his shell-shocked mind could think was, how? How could a grown man transform into a high school senior overnight and more importantly how could he change back?
"Oh good you're up" a familiar voice snapped him back to the present.
