"Ahhh...that hit the spot!" Ino proclaimed after her latest meal.

The cook was Mrs. Akimichi, Choji's mother, who smiled at the compliment and patted Ino's stomach.

"I'm glad you like it! Your figure is really improving Ino!"

Ino smiled at the comment for a few moments before realizing what exactly that meant. Looking down, Ino was shocked to discover a big belly. Of course she knew most of the weight had to come from all the food she'd just eaten, but still it was a surprise.

Ino was about to inspect further when a voice whispered in her ear.

"Mom's food is good, isn't it?"

Ino looked to her right to Choji, her boyfriend, and nodded.

"Sure is. But Choji...do you think that...I'm getting..." Ino was too embarrassed to finish the sentence, prompting Choji to nudge her.

"What's wrong Ino?"

The caring look in his eyes made Ino forget her worries for the moment and she just shrugged her shoulders.

"Nothing...just acting weird I guess. What's for dessert?"

But even as Ino said this, she placed a hand on her stuffed stomach, wondering if she was doing the right thing by ignoring her weight gain...
