Josh did not want to alter the time-space continuum by changing the course of history. A smart young boy keen to detail, Josh remembered this fact when his older brother Tom was talking about it at home one day. So, Josh knew what he had to do. Instead of bringing Caleb's father back to life, just as the other God did with Jesus, Josh decided to alter Caleb's genetic structure.
"I have made a decision. I know how I am going to help you," explained Josh, standing up. "Can you please stand up, Caleb?"
"S...sure." Caleb got up slowly. Then, Josh closed his eyes and stuck his hand out towards Caleb, but not yet touching him. All of a sudden, Caleb was levitating, floating two feet above the ground. He noticed that Josh was concentrating all of his brain power on him.
Then, Caleb noticed a wonderful sensation pulsating through his bones, muscles, and veins. A bright, blue light began to shine around him, glowing like the moon. The sensation became much more noticeable as it spread throughout his entire body. At first, he thought it was nothing. But then, something amazing started to happen...
Caleb felt incredibly strange and happy simultaneously. He glanced down. His legs began to vibrate. His bones erupted with a sharp but soothing pain as they got longer. They got so long that they reached the ground below, making him a whopping 6'4" tall, which is very tall for a ten year-old. With the newly added growth, his abdomen got longer making him appear very skinny, which was all about to change soon. Then, his feet cramped. They grew out if his shoes, shooting out quickly, tearing his one pair of dress shoes. They quickly surpassed the single digits range and stopped growing at size 14 feet.
A few seconds later, the tingling sensation moved upwards towards his legs. His legs began to expand with newly formed muscle. His calf muscles quadrupled in size, making them as big as softballs. His quads also quadrupled in size, resembling thick sheets of metal. His shorts, due to his increased height, went a quarter of his way to his knees, but luckily, his boxers grew with him. His legs resembled those of professional cyclists.
The sensation kept moving up. His torso became larger to support the body that was about to come. The gut of his belly seemed to melt away. Replacing his flab was an 8-pack of abs, hard as steel. They were so chiseled and effect that they looked as if they were cut by Michaelangelo on a block of marble for a statue. Then, his chest began to widen, forming a little chasm between his nipples. His pectorals began to inflate like large water balloons, but they weren't squishy. They were as hard as rock. They became so large that they obstructed his view of Josh who was supposedly standing in front of him.
Caleb became incredibly excited, but the deed was not done just yet. His back and arms had yet to be developed. His shoulders widened so that they were the same distance away as his legs so as to balance his body. His back became incredibly toned and muscular, similar to those of professional bodybuilders.
The next part of his body to be changed were his biceps. Before being changed, they were very short and thin. But, when the blue glow and the tingling sensation reached his arms, they began to expand. His biceps became so big that they resembled giant boulders, capable of crushing someone's head if it came between them. Caleb's hands then doubled in size, becoming larger than a basketball.
Finally, Josh slightly changed the appearance of Caleb's face. Josh erased some of Caleb's freckles with the waving of his hand as well as got rid of all the acne. He then gave Caleb a chiseled chin and left everything else alone.
After the transformation, the blue glow vanished. Caleb was given full control over his bodily movements. He was now able to jump high into the air, lift trucks with ease, and run with incredible speed and agility.
Caleb took a few steps back and looked down at Josh. Josh looked up to his new muscular friend and smiled.
"Thanks! This is so freaking cool!" Called bellowed. His voice had gotten considerable deeper due to the added testosterone in his system. He bent down on one knee and shook hands with Josh. Caleb's hand was so much bigger than Josh's head.
"It's not a problem, my gargantuan friend. I hope you put these muscle to good use. I know that you re pure of heart and will do just that," replied Josh with a calm voice.
