You've climbed about halfway up the rope when you hear a clank from above a feel a sudden shift of the rope. You tighten you grip instinctively as the rope slides quickly toward the adjacent wall. Bracing yourself for impact, you clench your eyes, but all you feel is a bit of fabric parting around you as the sliding rope you cling to accelerates. You glance back at the wall you passed through, now understanding that that section was only a painted tent flap. Heaving a sigh of relief, you turn back to the direction you are sliding in just in time to see wall before you hit it. The thin wooden wall shudders and absorbs most of the impact, but you are still dazed as you drop from the rope to your feet and fall forward, pitching your face into the hole in front of it.
A heavy tarp above the wall rolls down over your back to thump on the ground by your feet. You attempt you push yourself back from the wall, but the weight of the tarp has you pinned in place. You can't even move your arms, which (like the rest of you) are held tight against the wall by the heavy, immovable canvas. Your struggling draws the attention of a carny on the crowd's side of the wall, to which your face is exposed.
"Pie toss! We got a fresh target here, folks. Who wants throw a pie?"
A small crowd gathers in front of the carny as he hands out heavily laden cream pies.
*Put down the slime, then pick up a pie in your left hand and hold it in front of your chin.*
