The look on Emily's face was not the one he had hoped for nor expected. What he saw was a look of disgust, and what she had said sent a chill down his spine.
Before Ash could protest that he wasn't a Bug, a shadow fell over him as Emily's foot blocked out the sun. As a cute but massive foot began to descend upon him, he cried out once before the dirty wrinkly sole was pressed down all around him, pressing him into the muddy soil, pushing all the air out of his lungs. Even though the mud oozed around him, it did little to save him as his body was pulverized all at once.
Emily felt a little "pop" under the ball of her foot. Quite satisfied she had killed the offending creature she gave her foot one twist as she heading back home to get what she had forgotten. The smear that had once been Ash remained on her sole until she went swimming where it was washed off.
