Something strange began to happen. She wasn't sure what. It was like she was loosing her senses, falling into a pit of darkness, only vaguely aware that her body was running out of the castle, shoving anyone out of the way that tried to stop her.
She ran and ran and ran, far away from the castle, down the road, over bridges and through towns. The rest she could not remember, fully slipping into the darkness....
When a female Koopa woke up, the only thing she could recall was her name: Bowsette.
She looked around herself in confusion. There was a river nearby, and beyond that was a large town with a castle.
Bowsette had a strange feeling that the castle was supposed to be very important to her, but she wasn't sure why.
But at the moment, she had other matters on her mind, for she had just noticed that someone was staring at her.
It was a little mushroom man, who was looking at her with curiosity and fear. To Bowsette, he looked cute, and she smiled, her wicked looking teeth making him tremble with fear.
"Don't worry," she said, trying to make her hoarse voice sound friendly, "I'm not going to hurt you. Can you tell me were I am?"
Still trembling, the mushroom man spoke in a small voice. "Y-yes, y-you are i-in the M-Mushroom Kingdom," he stuttered.
A gust of wind blew across Bowser and she, to her horror, realised her nudity.
"Oh dear,'' she said, trying to cover herself up, " Can you perhaps help me? I need something decent to wear."
The mushroom man was careful at helping complete strangers, but at the same time he was too scared to refuse.
"S-sure, I g-guess," he said, leadimg the way, onowimg just who to go to for help.
