It was Bring Your Dad to School Day at Dimmesdale. At first, young Timmy Turner was excited to show everyone his dad. Yeah, the man wasn't the brightest and he often embarrassed Timmy, but he still loved him. As Timmy waited patiently in class for the moment when all the fathers would enter, he started hearing the other kids whispering. He looked in their direction and they promptly turned their heads away, snickering. He looked back and once against heard whispering. "psst.... *mumblemumblemumblethinmumble mumblebellymumble mumlesolamemumble*" Timmy couldn't precisely make out what they were saying, but it sounded like, once again, he was the joke of the class.
"Alright class, I'm going to let your fathers in... hopefully they won't break any chairs..." Mr. Crocker said wearily. Several of the students high fived and beamed proudly. The moment the door opened, the first thing jutting out was a big belly, followed by a round face on a happy man. Timmy guessed he had to weight at least 300lbs. The man walked over to his child and stood next to him as other fathers piled in. Timmy noticed that each man had a belly of some shape or size. Some, like Chester's dad, had a small beer belly, while AJ's dad struggled to squeeze between two desks because of his girth. In fact, he didn't remember half these fathers even being fat last year... Timmy began to sweat nervously. His dad hadn't shown up! Then he heard quick footsteps in the hall.
"I'm heeeeere!" Timmy's dad kicked in the door just as Crocker was closing it. "Hey everyone, I'm Timmy's dad!" He pointed directly at Timmy, who shied away a little. He was clad in workout gear, sweatband and everything. His shirt read "Run 4 Fun." As he took a swig from his water bottle several students made jeering remarks.
