Chapter #5

R.A Ronnie Arranges A Room For Misplaced Meitty

    by: wowee Author IconMail Icon
That was weird…”Buttercombe Academy….” Read several signs outside in a text that was like a slightly stylized version of her home planet’s language. Maybe this was a far distant Metalean colony planet left to be mostly forgotten out here in the middle of nowhere?

Pleased with this information, but still unsure exactly where to go Meitty took in her surroundings now that she was outside one of the major buildings. The life forms here were also startling similar to Meitty’s own Metalean race in appearance but yet they were all so…so…different! Not a single green complexion to be seen here, but pink skin, and brown and more, all paired with such different hair styles colors and makeup, though with a majority wrapped in bright garish yellow uniforms. Meitty felt a tiny twinge to maybe transfer and take her cosmetology degree studying here, if maybe after some further investigating…Wait a second…were all of them female?…No males in sight! Ugh! Could this day get any worse?

Meitty, so caught up in her examination of Earth’s existence ran in to a thick padded wall, or at least it felt like padding, it was actually a person! Standing before her, about a head taller than her, was a dark haired, woman, whose round face complete with thick rimmed rectangular glasses bore the look, not of anger, but one of concern. Said head, sat atop a frame that made her a near twin to her (now ex-) teacher Mrs. Henderson. At least this one had the decency to dress somewhat adequately, though it’s yellow uniform still clung to her side rolls and did little to mask her hulking breasts that pushed perkily upwards against the fabric.

“Oof…Oh, hello there…. Everything okay? Are you lost?” asked the life-form in front of her. Meitty was taken aback for a second time not just in the large size the creatures seemed to come in but that this planet’s language was so remarkably similar to her own, I mean the text was one thing but this was downright fascinating!

“Uhh…Just a little confused is all…” said Meitty after finally remembering it was her turn to speak.

“Newbie huh? Not a problem” said the fat fem in front of her giving her an assuring (but unwanted) pat on the back. “My name’s Ronnie, I’m a head assistant here at Buttercombe Academy. I’d be happy to show you around. Let me just check this clipboard here for where you’re headed…What’s your name?”

“Meitnerium Perioda.” Said Meitty, sensing a glimmer of hope in that this whole ordeal was going to be over with soon.

“O..kay…I’m going to just call you Meitty is that okay? Well, now let’s see…M….M…M…” the large girl looked at the clipboard she was carrying furiously fat fingering through papers.

“Actually I'm not a studen-...Look, can I just make a call real quick?” asked Meitty wondering why she was going to have to go through this whole process.

“What?”

“Can I just, like, phone home… or whatever?” asked with an arch of her eyebrow.

“Well…” trailed off for a bit usually not one to let ANYONE hold her phone, but after noting the ruff looking state this poor girl was in, her matronly instincts won out. “Sure…here.”

Meitty tried her dad’s number same as always; 269-8745-553-554-226-4447-777-889. No answer. She tried her mother’s…Still nothing! Her dad’s work, all of her friends! All met with a voice explaining that her call could not be completed as dialed. This stupid backwoods blue ball probably didn’t get coverage out here. Well, nothing left to do here but sit and wait for her dad to get the emergency crash signal her SUV sent out…that is if that didn’t get total toasted in the crash along with the rest of her vehicle.

“So Meitty…Eh, where were you from again?” Asked Ronnie as she took her phone back, all while trying (and failing) not to gawk at the incredibly long area code that accompanied each phone call.

“Metalement, duh. ” Said Meitty in a flat tone, as if her own white locks which currently covered her twin antennae, plus green skin weren’t enough to give it away, they were even speaking Metalement!

“Hmmm…” Ronnie sighed miserably; she assumed this was some remote city in Europe which didn’t much help in this situation. A bead of sweat formed on her brow as she could sense this was one of the VERY FEW times she was going to need help from someone higher up than her own R.A position, plus with more students checking in by the minute she was falling behind.

The best thing would be to make sure this Meitty girl stayed calm and felt at home here. “Well…I’m sure your parents have the Academy’s number, they’ll probably call to check on you as soon as they can. Just so you know I’ll put a notice into the attendance office right away… For now though, how about I put you in a temporary room with someone, till things get things officially sorted out? Is that okay?”

“I guess…” said Meitty with a roll of her eyes wanting nothing more than for this to be over as soon as possible.

“All right.” She gave a small nod before double checking her clip-board, then nodding once more before speaking again. “Well, I’ve got a spare room on my floor for now so just follow me!” Ronnie turned about and began slowly walking down a hallway, at the same time she dialed up a number on her phone. “Hi, so I’ve got a lost student here…yeah I tired but I think she’s from Europe...”

Meitty tuned out, walking the halls following the enormous life-form in front of her. This was so annoying…but on the other hand certainly already a million times better than her assigned school of Transvesttie. Maybe she could convince daddy to do some away studies out here…In fact if she made the right moves she might be able to…. Wait, there was something else peculiar about this school; Same Yellow uniforms? That sort of thing wasn’t out of the ordinary. In fact the Pastafarianism place down a ways from her old school did that. An all-female school? Again, not preferable, but not unheard off, as Meitty’s friend Vortia had almost been assigned to one given her constant breaking of curfew. No, the weird thing was that out of all the organisms here, Meitty seemed to be the only interplanetary attendee, not even a single feline from the Amenhotep Quadrant and those things were practically on every planet! No way…Was she…Was she on an undiscovered planet! If that were the case…maybe she’d better keep the fact that she was an alien here under wraps for a while…I mean they seemed pretty friendly so far, if a little weird, but who knew what could happen...Meitty casually brushed her hair making sure it now fully covered the two antennae on her head and tuned back into whatever this Ronnie person was saying.

“-And if you need a spare uniform there’s should be a set in either one each of the closets.” Said Ronnie sounding a bit out of breath from the speech she’d been giving and the walk. “Well, here’s your room. And like I said I’m going to make sure you get a hold of your parents one way or another. For now though just relax here want you to feel at home. Oh! It, looks like your room-mate has already checked in. Excellent! I just know you two are going to get along great!” said Ronnie, the last few lines coming off as a per-programmed routine.

“….Great….” muttered Meitty in a sarcastic echo of hollow excitement.

“I’ll be back soon to give you an update as soon as possible Meitty. Just stay calm. Everything’s going to be fine.” Ronnie said talking down to the foreign girl as if she was a five year old, and with that Ronnie turned about, and headed off.

Well if this was where she was going to be crashing (metaphorically and literally) for the next few hours might as well get it over with. Whomever her roommate was Meitty was sure of two things; she’d have to find out a lot more about this planet she now found herself on AND be extremely careful NOT to reveal that she wasn’t exactly from around here.

“Oh, are you my new roommate?” asked the voice from behind the door it belonged to a student named...
