Judith happened to be the one that Eric considered his best friend, or atleast close friend. Dark haired, fair skinned and petite, she was his same age at 19, and a very bright and intelligent slightly gothic girl who happened to share multiple of his classes. They'd known each other for a while, and while he was the psychologically inclined nerdish type, she was a little more astute herself. Not terribly so, but she tended to be cynical and keep an open eye. Her wit and sometimes critical outlook provided good banter for his interest, and they usually took a liking to each other. Raised by a single mom and surrounded by what she considers 'Normies', she tends to be pretty bored, if calm and collected.
Lauren was her mother of 42 years old, a zany bombastic women of her own. She'd been with many men and was quite a party goer back in her prime, but now has settled on raising her two beloved daughters. She maintains their apartment and while isn't always the brightest or most responsible, tends to give all the concern and energy she can devote to her family. Was once a stripper briefly and still holds rather, Adult interest at times, including her kinky wardrobe, her clubbing and very private activities. Despite this she's resigned herself never to be married again, and is a very nice if aloof lady. Has bleached blond hair and short bangs to go with her long straight hair. She's usually infatuated with Madonna, Lady Gaga and pop celebrities, secretly wishing sometimes she could live a glamorous life herself.
Karyn is Judith's sister of 23, the drama queen damsel of the family. Blond like her mother and taking after many of her perky mannerisms, she is a firebrand of pep and yet scorn. Being the head cheer-leader in her highschool days, she still solicits boys, hangs out at malls with her friends and generally treats many people as beneath her, including her dorkish smarter younger sister. Takes part-time classes, but is more concerned with her hair or next hangout than any schoolwork. Is extremely snobbish and vain, basks herself in makeup and designer outfits, has a rather stunning pretty face. Is a beautiful blond starlet in her own world, but a huge bitch in everyone else's.
Tricia happens to be another gothic friend of her age, Judith. They're rather close and respect each other a lot. With dark skin, dreadlocks and usually an eclectic wardrobe, Tricia is Judith's intellectual equal and usually calmer, well-spoken friend of the two. While Judith and can sassy or jaded, Tricia tends to take an either more positive or neutral view of things. She has an interest in literature, history, and sometimes even comics and fantasy. While Judith loves rock and punk music and usually wears black or dark outfits, Tricia can often be seen in more colorful ones, from neon legwarmers to bright vinyl fabrics, she can often be seen dying her hair different colors and trying on different peppy ensembles. She prefers trance, techno and synchronized electronic music to Judith's metal, and would rather entertain the idea of going to a Rave than a rock concert. She lives with her single mother, and is generally quiet but kindly when approached and lively when happy. Despite there differences her and Judith remain close friends.
