You smiled happily as you enjoyed the view of your private beach on your private island. Sure, it got lonely every now and then, but that's the price you pay for peace and tranquility. Suddenly, you were shaken from your peaceful thoughts by the sight of a quick flash of light off in the distance. You tried to shake it off, but then you saw it again.
You sighed in frustration. Probably paparazzi or something, you thought as you pushed yourself to your feet to shoo away the intruders. You took the few short steps from your porch to the beachline, but as you got closer, your mouth dropped in shock at what you saw. The flashes of light were coming from the last few remnants of sunlight bouncing off an incredibly large metallic vehicle that was slowly rolling out of the sea onto your property!
You couldn't help but continue toward the awe inspiring piece of machinery. You had never seen anything like it, and you needed to get closer. As you drew closer, the vehicle stopped suddenly, but you continued your trek until you found yourself against what you assumed was a door. It, like the vehicle, was incredibly large. You hesitated for a moment, but lifted your hand and knocked.
The door suddenly clanged open, revealing a large creature shrouded in darkness on the inside. You were never the tallest person, but the figure inside the vehicle would tower over any professional athlete. Before you could get a word out, your world went dark as you found yourself unconscious.
Eventually, you slowly and lazily woke up. It felt like you were lying back on a metal table. Instead of opening your eyes you chose to focus on the sounds around you. Distinctly female voices disagreeing about something.
"I thought you said the island was uninhabited!" a commanding voice seethed.
"I....uh....well the scanners said it was!" a second voice meekly responded. "Maybe it picked up his small size and identified him as an animal? Or....maybe he's the only human on the island and the scanner just....missed him?" she searched for a rational explanation.
"Well, regardless, he'll have to stay with us now. Maybe he can give us some answers on the island and his planet while we await orders from headquarters," the commanding voice responded, still sounding irritated.
At the sound of having to stay, your body twitched.
"Hey! Quiet you two!" a third voice jumped in. "I think he's awake!"
Knowing that you were caught, you slowly opened your eyes. What you saw caused you to gasp. The women....if you could call them that....were definitely animals. But they all stood on two legs and had distinctly human features. They were all also incredibly tall and curvaceous. Your eyes slowly scanned the room and you saw a hippo, a kangaroo, a horse, and a rabbit surrounding your table. It was like you woke up in the most random startup zoo ever. You were filled with questions, but you were not the first to break the silence.
