Walking by, Sally noticed the box on the table and picked up the strange looking gun, quickly piecing together that it must have been bought by Dan for taking to Tara's party. She sighs before talking to nobody in particular.
"I can't believe some of the crap he wastes his money on."
Sally inspects the gun further, noticing the strange settings on it. Surely all a water gun needs is trigger and somewhere to pour the water, but this one had a switch, with two positions - S and G. Sally flicked the switch and the gun made a soft humming sound for about a second. She flicked it again, and the same thing happened. Her curiosity would not bite though.
Suddenly, she hears her next door neighbours arguing. Sally was good friends with Hayley, who was 29 years old, blonde and slim. She wasn't so friendly with her current boyfriend however, who was a couple of years older, and from what she and Hayley spoke of, their relationship wasn't in a great shape.
She also noticed her other neighbour. His name was Oliver, but that's about as much as Sally knew about him, but they had spoken once or twice in passing each other. She saw him in his garden, tending to some weeds. The man was well built and Sally was quite attracted to him. With her husband long since out of the picture, Sally wondered if she would sometimes imagine getting with Oliver. He was working up quite a sweat in the warm summer sun, and would probably appreciate a nice soak, Sally figured.
Sally remembered the gun in hand and decided she would either try and break up a fight or break the ice with Oliver.
