A second door opened and a teenage girl entered, holding a tray of tea in her gloved hands. Her hair was a reddish brown and had white highlights in it.
"Ah thought it might be better for me to bring the tea in instead of Kurt porting in and frightening y'all," said the girl in a pronounced southern accent.
"Thank you, Marie," said Xavier "Why don't you show our guests round the mansion, i'm sure they'd love a tour once they're done with their tea."
"We would, thank you," said the Doctor "But i'm sure (your name) could show us around."
"No, it's all right, i'll show you around," said Marie, sitting down in a separate armchair to the Doctor, something that was not lost on either the Doctor or Rose, you observed.
"Well, so far, I know that two possible mutations are time travel and teleportation, but what other powers are there?" asked the Doctor
"Well, I can read minds as well as control them and communicate with them," said Xavier "I've seen mutants with the power to level an entire city, and there are some mutants who are not as complacent with the violence experienced by mutants all over the world."
"It is getting quite late," said Marie, looking out the window at the darkening sky "Should I show them to the guest quarters?"
"Yes," said Xavier "(your name), may I speak with you a moment?"
You grabbed Xavier's arm and stopped time.
"Why haven't you told them about the X Men?" you asked Xavier "I'm sure they could help you."
"I don't trust them completely yet, that Doctor has the strangest psychic shields I've ever seen, they don't even seem like shields, I've seen this only once before, in my son, Legion."
"I'm not sure what that means," you say, truthfully "But I do know that the Doctor is nothing like Legion, he doesn't constantly change form or go mad at certain times. If you trust my judgement, Xavier, I think you should tell him about the X Men."
"O.K," said Xavier "Give me a day to think this over, and if I decide, i'll tell him."
You unfroze time
