You wake up, no longer in your safe bed and somewhere new and alien. The sky above you seems to be white, with a hint of cream, and there are no clouds. You get up, feeling the solid plastic of the earth, and wonder where on earth you could be. It's only when you look around the rest of your surroundings that you realize what has happened.
It's an ordinary shopping centre cafe. At least, it would be ordinary if it wasn't magnified in scale to the point that everything was gigantic and you were pretty much a bug in compared to the mountainous furniture. The room itself is very large, even by giant standards, and it seems to encompass an entire floor. One half of the room has a counter selling various knicks knacks and curios, which is unattended right now, and the other half of the room seems to be a cafe - and it's the half that you are currently in. There's a line of soda machines on the far wall, along with a counter and small kitchen (also unattended) on the opposite wall. There are a handful of tables and chairs, and they too are uninhabited. The calendar on the wall says that it is a Sunday, so the cafe will be closed, but that doesn't eliminate the idea that someone might bring their own lunch and sit here. You don't want to be eaten or sat on or stepped by a hungry weekend shopper.
