Mimi was then shook violently awake. "Geez, alright. I'm up I'm up," she said as she pulled herself into a sitting position. Once she rubbed the sleep from her eyes she could see who had awoken her. "Sora? What's the problem?"
"The problem is I don't know where we are, and I don't see the others anywhere either."
"Wha-?" Mimi shot to her feet. Taking in her surroundings she could see the two of them were in the middle of a grassy field. "Okay, well it looks like we made it back to our world though right?"
"It does look like Earth, but I don't recognize the area. I don't see the trolly we were riding on either." The red-haired girl looked around a bit. "Hold on a second." Before Mimi could object Sora was already half way up a tree.
"Sora! What are you doing?"
"I'm trying to get our bearings. See if there's anything- There!" She pointed her finger outward. "I can see a village or something over in that direction!"
"Mimi strained her eyes looking were Sora had pointed. "Are you sure?."
Sora slid down the trunk. "Sure I'm sure. If the others are anywhere nearby they'll probably be heading there too."
"Well I guess, but-"
"Come on!" Sora was already running on ahead.
"Huh? Sora! Wait for me!"
It only took a few minutes of running before the pair had reached the edge of the village. The place was bustling with activity. There were kids running al about the place, some two or three years older than they were, going down in age to five year olds and younger. They were all human, but there was one thing that immediately told the girls that something was not right.
"Sora?"
"Yeah?"
"Why is everyone wearing diapers?"
Sure enough every person they could see was wearing a diaper, either plainly visible or poorly hidden underneath onesies or other baby clothes.
"I don't know, but I'm starting to think we may not be on Earth after all." As the pair examined the village they saw large toy blocks stacked in one area, a giant teddy bear not far off... "This entire place looks a lot like primary village back in the digital world."
That was when Mimi noticed a little girl was watching them quite intently. The girl wore nothing save a white t-shirt and a diaper. She nudged Sora and pointed her out. They exchanged glances then made their way over to her.
"Um, excuse me-" Mimi began.
"You dress funny," the girl giggled.
"Yeah, well, we're not really from around here," Sora responded. "Where exactly is here?"
The girl looked at them, confused. "This is where here is."
Mimi was beginning to get frustrated. However she also had another problem. "Hey, could you please show me where the bathroom is?"
Again the girl responded with a blank stare. "What's a bath room?"
