While the rest seemed to talk about how to get Takoto back to normal and what the possible overall effects of this would be on him, Jeri instead walked on over towards the goggle boy and smiled as she looked at him, enjoying the innocence that shown through his eyes at that moment. It was just some kind of cute!
"Hello, Takoto. It's me, Jeri," the young girl said, speaking down to him as if he were a toddler. At the moment he essentially was. "Do you remember me? Do you, Takoto?"
With a smile, the brown-haired boy nodded his head and smiled wide while sitting down, diaper crinkling. This brought joy to Jeri, who quickly sat down in front of him and decided to try and entertain him in some manner. He had the mind of a baby now, she was certain that he would not be too hard to please.
Pulling out her sock puppet, she began to move it around and pretend to have it do and say things, causing giggles of joy to erupt from Takoto. Truth be told, Jeri was rather enjoying this as well.
Jeri got her puppet close to Takato and tickled him. Takato giggled until he sneezed, right on Jeri.
From a distance, Rika, Henry, and the others watched on with expressions between confusion and being impressed at how well Jeri was handeling this.
"I guess she must have a way with children," Henry said as he looked on. "I can't say I'm really surprised about that."
Rolling her eyes, Rika scoffed and looked away, not wanting to watch any more baby play than she really had to. "Of course she would be good with Takoto, he likes her whether he has the mind of a two month old or not."
The playing continued for some time, both parties seeming to enjoy it, with Jeri herself even managing to be swept up into a sort of babyish mind as she played, as if she were some sort of kid playing alongside another toddler. It many ways it was quite soothing, if she were to be honest about her feelings on the matter.
Suddenly, as they continued to play, what appeared to be a foul stench began to emanate around the room. Everyone looked around for the source, and their eyes quickly all fell on Takoto. Letting out a sigh, Henry went over to go and check his diaper...
