you are walking down the street heading for the tournament payout desk you had done quite well taking 12th out of 168 fighters.
Your take was around 18 thousand, not a bad hall considering it was only your 3rd tourney. As you approached the desk you noticed the line was rather long
and some of the people were shouting at the man behind the desk. It appeared that the crowd was on the verge of turning on them when you finally realized what was happening they didn't have enough money to cover the prizes that they were supposed to give out. Now you could agree with the mob. as you approached the desk you hear the man say ok everyone if you were in the top ten you will get your money today but everyone else will have to wait till tomorrow. you sit there thinking to your self well fuck, no sooner had you said that the woman standing next to you said the same thing you were thinking.
You look over at her and see that it is none other than Makoto she had be put out the match right after you, she had,
had the misfortune of being matched up against Ryu. She then looks over at you and says "well i guess were both in the same situation".
You say back to her "Yep im just glad i went ahead and booked a hotel room for tonight instead of planning on leaving".
she says back"lucky, there arnt any rooms left withing 10 miles of this place now and i didnt plan for this."
you had met her at each of your tournaments so far and at each of them you two had talked and i guess you could call her a new friend.
so trying to do the decent thing you say to her" well my room has two beds so if you want to room with me for the night your welcome to."
Makoto smiles at you and says "thank you that would be great." so with that you both head for your hotel it was about
2 blocks form the stadium so it was a short walk once you got there you both get on the elevator, your room was on the 5th floor.
as you went up you say to her " you had some really good matches today i really thought that you had Ryu there at the end of the match."
she then says to you " yea i never saw that round house coming." you laugh a little and say
" yea i know what you mean i had no idea that Chun-Li could kick that fast let alone that high." rubbing you temple for where the toe of her boot had hit you.
Makoto laughs at you and says "yea i bet that hurt like hell."
you laugh as well and say "yea i just wish she hadn't had steel toe boots on." she laughs and says "it would have hurt just as much if i had done it"
you say "i doubt that you not even wearing shoes and by the of it you take pretty good care of you feet so i highly doubt that your toes are as hard as steel."
she smiles at you and says "thanks not many people compliment me on my feet."
you say back to her not a problem i just call them as i see them."
as you reach the room you open the door for her, you walk in behind her and sit down on the bed closest to the window and say " ahh much better"
you then look over at her and say "Ladies first" as you point to the shower.
she then replies back jokingly "such a gentalman" you laugh and say no i have just had my ass kicked by one woman today i dont want to make it 2"
she burst out laughing and says "Point taken as she heads for the shower."
you tell her Hay throw you clothes out after you get in there im gona wash mine so i might as well throw yours in to make a full load."
she says alright and heads into the shower a minute latter the door opens half way and she drops her clothes right at the door before closing it again.
you then grab her clothes and head for the washing room down the hall.
