You wave at the mailman as he resumes his mail route, then close the front door. You are anxious, excited even, to see what has just been delivered to you.
You examine the outside of the cardboard box, trying to figure out what could be inside. If there are any identifying markings on the box, they are completely covered with tape. In fact, you can't see your address or even your name anywhere on the package. The only writing on the box is a single ornate letter 'S' stamped on the only surface of the box not obscured by the extravaganza of tape. You briefly wonder how the mailman even knew that it was yours, but your curiosity at the contents soon seizes your attention once again.
Armed with a knife, you begin to cut through the inch-thick layer of tape surrounding the box. As the knife slices through, you wonder both how much time it took to wrap the box with this much tape and, more importantly, why anyone would bother. Maybe to make sure that whatever is inside the box stays inside? You shrug as you finish your last cut, finally freeing the box lid. For some reason, you are feeling a bit nervous as you lift the lid and peek inside at your prize.
